Within the FPS Policy and Support, The Directorate-General for Simplification and Digitalization (DG SD) is the federal administration responsible for innovation, digital transformation and e-government.

The Identification, Authentication and Authorization (IAA) domain offers a comprehensive solution for secure access to digital public services. In 2023, it enabled no less than 320 million authentications via the FAS!

Job description

  • Act as a liaison in internal discussions between technical teams and management, and external discussions with existing or prospective customers.
  • Capture and analyze needs and/or present existing services during meetings with existing or prospective customer.
  • Organize regular service meetings with customers and external partners to discuss service quality, service improvement, identify requirements...
  • Deal with urgent issues raised by customers, either yourself or by contacting the most appropriate colleagues so as to work out a win-win solution.
  • Constantly monitor the quality of IAM services, identify improvements and collaborate in their implementation
  • Maintain product sheets, service catalogs, websites, etc. to provide customers with up-to-date information on IAM services.
  • Take part in the development of IAM services (in collaboration with developers, analysts, architects, etc.).
  • Coordinate actions to restore service as quickly as possible in the event of an incident.
  • Promote a service-oriented attitude among your colleagues.

Profile description

  • You have a bachelor or Master degree or equivalent through experience
  • You have at least 5 years pertinent work experience
  • You are fluent in English, French and / or Dutch
Hard skills:
  • Knowledge of ITIL principles and processes.
  • Knowledge of the principles of information security, identification, authentication and access management, authoritative sources and the RGPD.
  • Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
  • Some familiarity with DevOps processes and Agile is recommended.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and reporting.
Nice to have:
  • Knowledge of eIDAS and Single Digital GateWay legislation.
  • Competence in cryptography, certification and/or PKI
Soft skills:
  • Ability to exercise empathy, reasoning, argumentation and open dialogue at both operational and management levels.
  • Ability to negotiate to reach win-win compromises.
  • Aptitude for teamwork, while being able to work independently.
  • You have helicopter view
  • Ability to identify service improvement opportunities, discuss them with colleagues and take initiative.
